Age Does Matter (Jay oh Jay....)

For the 1st time in our life, we feel old....

Me and My best fen, both of us are "die-hard fanatic we-will-give everything-to-meet-Jay" Jay Chou fans. We often imagine if Jay Chou really hapen to come here for concert, we are willing to pay big money to atend his concert and meet him in person if its possible. We just love him... even tho he is not that handsome (according to some people), but he is so cool... and personally I thought that I would do anything to meet him or shake his hand. But that thoughts were totally changed yesterday....

Me and Dot (my Jay Chou super fans partner) were having out late nite exercise after big dinner yesterday nite and we happen to pass by The Cathay shopping mall. We were talking and suddenly this big message board caught our attention: "Meet Jay Chou Personally on 30th July 2007 at The Cathay". Both of us stunned and we are grasping for air to breath. Jay Chou is coming to Singapore.

Yes, Jay Chou is coming to Singapore. Here is the deal. He is coming for the lauching of his latest movie "Secret" which will start on the 30th July 2007. He will make red carpet appearance on that nite, in addition as stated on the posters, for every advance movie ticket bought, we will receive an invitation for TEA PARTY with Jay on the 31st July 1pm. Which means, we can really meet him in person.

The movie is about 1st love of student, or something like that. Because we can see Jay Chou and the girl wearing uniform in the trailer and on the posters.

We were so shocked of the good fortune we have come across with. Anyway, we fly to the cinema and bought our advance movie ticket and fly back to the counter to redeem our invitation to the tea party. We were laughing at our good fortune and thanking fate that we have pass by The Cathay and everything. We did some planning on taking leave on the tea party day, which falls on Tuesday, working day. Both of us were thinking of buying new dress and plans to go to hairdresser before the event. We were both smilling all the way to the counter.

At the counter when we redeem our invitation. The girl did not say anything just look at our movie ticket and ask for our IC, then she start to record ur particulars in a spreadsheet filled with other participants particulars. Me & Dot, at the same time inspect the same row of the spreadsheet. IC details. OMG, all other participants are born in the year 88 (thats the oldest), 89 and 91. We look at each other, still smilling, and knew we were looking at the same thing.

Anyway, afterwards, the counter girl give us our invitation. We quickly walk out and still smiling looking at the greatest gift, the answer to our prayers, the key to meet Jay. Then suddenly, something in the invitation caught ur eyes.

Dress code: SCHOOL ATTIRE

This is Dot statement: All these time, I thot the reason of me not being able to meet Jay is either financial or because I have to work, I dont have time. I never thot that I will not be able to meet Jay because I am 24 years old... huhuhu...

Anyway... till now we still thinking of going. Just need to figure out where we can find school uniform and how to make our face 10 year younger, so we can blend in the crowd....
