Singapore - KL (not that far lah....)

Anyone still think that the distance between Singapore and KL is very faaaaarrr..... Think again!

In fact its just 330km away if you go by land. Easily calculated is only 3 hours after you pass the JB, Malaysian immigration, travel by bus with 110 km/hr speed.
Or easily completed in 1.5 hour should you drive 200km/hr (please do not do this, except if you drive something like BMW or Merz) like one of my fren did last time, but the car go strait to the car repair afterwards.

If you have not travel to KL before let me guide you thru the journey so that you will know what to expect.

1. Take bus from the terminal
The most famous terminal in Singapore is located atthe Beach Rd - Golden Mile Complex. There is a lot of bus services there so every time other than Friday afternoon to nite you can just walk in and get any the bus anytime. Usually the bus depart every hour so you wont have to wait very looong time for the bus departure.

2. Bus Terminal to Singapore and JB Malaysian Immigration
The journey from terminal to the Tuas check point (Singapore Immigration) usually take about half hour to 45 mins max and by the time you passed the Malaysian immigration it should take around 1 hour from the time the bus depart terminal. My advice is better go toilet at Singapore immigration and dont wait till the Malaysian immigration. Now you can start relax you body and sleep. Now the 330km journey just started.

3. Halfway Resting Place
Most of the bus departed from Beach Road will stop halfway at the place called (forgot), its about 220km from KL. There you will have 20-30 mins time to rest and eat. Note: please bring own tissue and please do not imagine going into public toilet in Singapore. Just picture a place with lots of roach and the outcome will be better. You can buy prepaid card or top up your malaysian prepaid card here in case somebody fetch you and you could not get them.
Other express busses (Nice, First Coach, Aeroline, etc) will not stop at this place. Those busses will stop at resting place halfway of at highway. Usually these resting place's toilets are much cleaner and usable, but please still bring your own toilet paper. Some busses will stop only 5 mins for toilet break beacause they provide refreshment in the bus.

4. Resting place to Sungai Besi Tol
If you get a great driver, he will get you to travel 220km in less than 2 hours. Some driver will take around 2.5 hours. But this part will get very confusing. Some of the passenger will stop before the Sungai Besi Toll. If you wake up and found that the bus stoped. Look at your right side. If there is a row of building and one very tall light looking like a tree, means you at Sungai Besi Toll. If you intend to alight till the arrival place as advertised by the bus please do not alight now, because you will be lost in the middle of the highway. Believe me my friend, Malaysian, still lost at this Sungai besi toll.
The next alighting place is Bukit Jalil Petronas Station. You will see that it is petrol station. Petronas with McDonalds 24 hour logo. Again, if you still new, please do not alight, even though you are very hungry and want to get the hamburger. The bus will stop to alight passenger only. They will not wait for you.

5. Alighting Place
The journey from Sungai besi Toll to your alighting place will take around 30 mins without traffic jam. If you take First Coach, the bus is more generous as it will strait go toll and will take you to Bangsar in 15 mins with or without traffic jam. If the bus stop at a place with lots of taxi around and lots of people carying bags, means you arrive at Pudu terminal safely.
